This place was pretty much as expected from looking online. No air conditioning, but they never claimed anywhere that they did, so I didn't expect them to. It's never really "hot" there, so it's not needed. I do wish the windows had opened a bit wider to allow more air in, but I was never uncomfortable, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to heat when I sleep. We had a room that faced the main street, so it was a bit noisy with buses going by, but coming from a city myself, I'm used to it, it wasn't anything excessive. I imagine it's quieter if you get a room facing away from the main street. It's a fantastic location, as my friend and I could walk anywhere in city center very easily, and there are a lot of restaurants/pubs nearby. The staff was very friendly - they advised us on a few bus tours away from the city and they were both good. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but I had no trouble sleeping. We ran low on toilet paper one evening, and when we requested more, we were told there was no staff to bring it up, but it would be up in a few hours, however it never showed. Close

The hotel was great! Okay, I had just come from a really small hotel in Paris, so this was like paradise. But it was a great deal. I would say book it. :) really close to everything you would want to see in Dublin, and the ladies at the front desk were always willing to help and the breakfast was yummy. :) con: don't try taking a nap during the day, the walls are too thin. but then, who takes a nap during the day: me. and, i'm a light sleeper. But, definitely book if you are not looking for the Ritz! Close

I looked at the Arlington as being a close to temple bar as my primary goal however It was after going into the hotel I realized what a gem the place really was . Frist I got into Dublin at 6 am and got to the hotel at 7 am tired after 20 hrs from California. The night porter Dan was super helpfull and got me a coffee,he then went about cleaning the windows and the furniture . Wow imagine that in the USA .It would not happen. Then Irena the day customer rep told me that she would get me a first available room. Thanks. It was a good place with a good bar staff as well .I was able to comfortably walk to the temple bar area in 5 mins and the bus to the airport is across the river 5 mins away also the hotel does have a limited shuttle if you ask. The Arlington is not fancy however great value and i would stay again. Jim Close

My mom and I stayed at Arlington Hotel Temple Bar for two nights at the beginning of August. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We did go to the show one night and it was good. The dancing itself was only about 10 or 15 minutes long. The location was wonderful, within a 15 minute walk to most of the main sites. The only downfall was that there was a bit of noise from the street. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and will most likely stay there again the next time I am in Dublin. Close
